The Farmhouse

A build that started in 2019 turning a bungalow into this amazing 5 bedroom house. This house is located in Bolsover, Chesterfield

The first job was removal of existing walls, roof, old concrete floors and windows. We was then able to start the construction of the extension. New walls and foundations then was done with many steels going in as well as the construction of the first floor with timber beams. Steels on this job was needed everywhere, they was needed for the roof, the massive windows on each side of the building and throughout the house for an open plan feel.

Next job was ripping out all of the old interior so that the interior first fix could begin. First underfloor heating was installed throughout the house and new concrete floors poured all downstairs. Stud walls was erected, electrical and plumbing first fix was completed and then boarded and plastered.

Second fix started with all joinery, electrical and plumbing finishing relatively fast with an extremely nice finish. Standard in this build was the main priority and this is shown. Overall this house was a pleasure to build and the finish is amazing to look at.
